Welcome to the Waseca Parks Department

The Waseca Parks Department is responsible for approximately 200 acres of park land. This land is comprised of 15 parks, which includes amenities such as baseball, softball, and soccer fields, basketball, tennis, and sand volleyball courts, playground equipment, picnic shelters and restrooms, and outdoor skating rinks. Maplewood Park and Northwest Nature Park are also available to those seeking the solitude nature offers plus offering a unique environmental educational learning experience. The Parks Department also maintains approximately 9.2 miles of trails throughout Waseca. Please click on the city park/trails maps link for a trails map.

The Park Department also works together with the Waseca Community Education and Recreation Department in various youth and adult activities. Park staff and Community Education/Recreation coordinates field usage and maintenance activities to provide orderly play and excellent playing conditions on City facilities.
