The Park Advisory Board has the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Hold monthly meetings to consider City park matters as may be referred by the City Council, City Manager, or Waseca School District, or as members of the Board deem proper.
  • Make recommendations to the City Manager and City Council pertaining to park land acquisitions, developments, improvements, use, etc.
  • Enforce and implement the City's reforestation plan as adopted by the City Council.
  • Recommend establishment of, or amendments to, regulations governing the use of all park land within the City.
