Parks
The Waseca Parks Department is responsible for approximately 200 acres of City park land. This land is comprised of 15 parks, which include amenities such as baseball, softball, and soccer fields, basketball, tennis, and sand volleyball courts, playground equipment, picnic shelters, restrooms, and outdoor skating rinks. Maplewood Park and the Northwest Nature Park provide more solitude and offer a unique environmental learning experience. The Parks Department also maintains approximately 9.2 miles of hard surface trails throughout the City of Waseca. Park Trail Map
Future improvements, regulations, and other park issues and concerns are tyupically addressed by the five (5) member Park Advisory Board.
