CITY BOULEVARD WORK

City crews will be water-excavating (pot holing) a small hole over many water service lines in the boulevard lawn areas in order to determine water service material such as copper or lead. This Federal EPA unfunded mandate is required as a first step to identify old lead water service lines in the city so they can eventually be replaced. All lawn restoration will be completed shortly after excavation at no cost to adjacent property owners.

This work will begin in the SW area of town and progress to the SE, then the NE, and NW quadrants of town. Please call Tim Roessler – Deputy Public Works Director at 835-9710 with any questions.
