Community and Economic Development
The Community Development Department is responsible for encouraging, planning, and managing community growth and development within, and in the immediate vicinity of, the City of Waseca. Our aim is to provide individuals, organizations, and businesses with development information and opportunities to create a thriving and prosperous local economy. To meet that goal, the City has established long-range planning models and land use/zoning regulations to promote orderly, efficient, and sustainable development that will benefit the community as a whole.
