2021 Sidewalk Improvements

Project Description: This annual project involves primarily the replacement of defective and deteriorated sidewalk (and some curb and gutter) at various locations throughout the City.  The sidewalk and curb and gutter sections are generally selected by City staff based on resident feedback, overall condition, and level of use.   

Project Status: On July 15th, quotes were received for this project with Nielsen Concrete LLC submitting a low quote of $57,926.60.  The project was awarded at the July 20th City Council meeting at a revised amount of $39,994.60, which falls within the City's budget for these improvements.  The concrete work was completed the week of August 16th and restoration was completed the week of September 6th.

Project Costs & Funding: A total of $40,000 was budgeted for these improvements.  This project was 100% funded by the City and these improvements are not assessed to adjacent properties.
