The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), enacted on July 26, 1990, is a civil rights law prohibiting discrimination against individuals based on disability.  As required by Title II of the ADA, 28 CFR. Part 35 Sec. 35.105 and Sec. 35.150, the City of Waseca has conducted a self-evaluation of its facilities within public rights-of-way and has developed an ADA Transition Plan detailing how the City will ensure that those facilities are accessible to all individuals.

Per the requirements of the ADA, a Discrimination Complaint Form is also available for those who wish to file a grievance or complaint regarding accessibility issues or discrimination.

If you have any questions about the ADA Transition Plan, please contact Nate Willey (City ADA Coordinator) at 507-835-9716 or at natew@ci.waseca.mn.us
