Project Description: Approximately 235 feet of new 12" storm sewer pipe was installed in the east-west alley between 3rd & 4th Avenue NE and 5th & 6th Street NE to replace an existing storm sewer pipe that had failed.  Included with this project was installation of a new storm sewer intake near the midpoint of the alley, a new storm sewer manhole in 5th Street NE, and sidewalk, alley approach, and street pavement replacement.

Project Status: On August 2nd, five (5) bids were received for this project with the lowest bid being from Chambers Excavating & Trucking LLC in the amount of $48,781.  The project began September 20th and was completed on October 13th. 

Project Costs & Funding: City staff completed the project design and performed project inspection.  Total construction costs were $49,910 and this project was 100% funded by the Storm Sewer Utility.
