City Parking Lot Rehabilitation

(City Hall, Public Safety Building, Maplewood Park)

Project Description: This project consisted of the resurfacing and patching of the City Hall, Public Safety Building (PSB), and Maplewood Park parking lots.  Rehabilitation of these parking lots will extend the life of the pavement and postpone the need for more costly reconstruction.

Project Status: On March 16th a total of six (6) bids were received with the low bid being from M&W Blacktopping LLC in the amount of $84,844.76.  The project was awarded at the March 21st City Council meeting and work began the week of July 10th.  Pavement patching in the PSB and Maplewood Park parking lots was completed July 19th and the resurfacing of the City Hall south parking lots was completed on August 4th. 

Project Costs & Funding: Construction costs totaled $85,708.81 and were 100% funded by Streets Capital.  City staff completed project design and also performed project inspection.
