Sanitary Sewer Main & Manhole Rehabilitation

Project Description: Sanitary sewer main lining and manhole rehabilitation in various locations in the City's SE quadrant.

Project Status: On May 5th, four (4) bids were received for this project with the lowest bid being from Hydro-Klean LLC.  On June 7th their pipe lining bid of $245,120.06 was approved and on July 5th a manhole rehabilitation quote of $54,702 was accepted.  Pipe lining work began November 14th and was completed December 16th.  The manhole rehabilitation portion of this project began the week of May 1st and was substantially completed on June 1st.

Project Costs & Funding: Engineering services (design and inspection) are being provided by Stantec through a contract that is not-to-exceed $83,394.54.  The total cost of the sewer lining portion was $238,033.86, and the total cost of the manhole rehabilitation portion was $42,252 for a total project cost of $280,285.86.  This project was 100% funded by the Sanitary Sewer Utility.
